Domestic Abuse Practitioner (women’s)
Full time – 35 hours per week (Mon – Fri)
This post attracts a salary up to £27,364 per annum
(Salary scale: £25,442 – £27,364 per annum)
We have a vacancy for an experienced practitioner to join our women’s support team. We are looking for a dynamic and committed feminist with a minimum of 1 year work experience in a similar field who will work using a multi-agency and trauma informed approach.
This role will be focused on providing 1:1 and group work support to women who have been subjected to domestic abuse.
This post is available initially on a fixed term basis until 31st March 2025, continuation of role will be made based upon continued funding. Travel across East Lothian and Midlothian is required therefore a full current driving licence and constant access to a car is essential. Candidates must have a Membership of the PVG scheme, this is an essential requirement.
