Visiting us at Eskview Villas

From Eskbank Road, enter Glenesk Crescent.  Eskview Villas is then on the first right.  As you enter Eskview Villas you will see a double garage on the left-hand side, we are the building next to that, set back from the road surrounded by mature trees and hedgerows.

Please be aware that we are situated within a residential area where children live and play, safe driving speeds must be observed.  We are also situated within a no through road that ends in a cul-de-sac.  Turning within the narrow confines of the street can be challenging, especially when vehicles are parked along the roadside.  Large vehicles or those unfamiliar with the space may find it difficult to manoeuvre.

Public transport

There is space for a taxi to drop visitors off onsite at the front of our building.

Bus route numbers 3, 46, 140 stop on nearby Eskbank Road (Glenesk Crescent stop), followed by a short 3-minute walk or wheel.  Bus numbers, 48, 51 and 141 stop a short distance away in Dalkeith town centre.

The nearest railway station is Eskbank (0.59 miles away).  We are a 15-minute walk from the station.

If travelling by bike, we can offer somewhere safe to store your bike during your visit.

Parking

We have a small number of car parking spaces available at our Centre.  If you require parking, please request a space from your key worker or group lead.  We will ask for your car registration details to reserve a space.  Please note we cannot always offer a space, especially for group work programmes, but please do let us know of health or mobility issues as we will prioritise parking for those who need it.

If you are not parking onsite, please note our centre is located within a residential area.  To avoid nuisance to our neighbours we ask that visitors to our centre do not park in the immediate area, especially Eskview Villas or Glenesk Crescent.

There is free parking in surrounding and nearby streets as well as parking bays within Morrisons supermarket (3-hour parking limit) which is just a short 5-minute walk.

Accessibility

We are working on improving accessibility to our Centre, there is full access to our facilities on ground floor level.  Please do contact us to discuss your access need requirements so we can make suitable arrangements for your visit.
